We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacqueline Cook and Lexie Phillips and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jacqueline & Lexie, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We met at our previous retail job and quickly became close friends. Through work and friends, we were given numerous opportunities to plan and host high end events for luxury and lifestyle sales and products; as well as planning more personal family and smaller corporate events. During this time, we realized we both had a passion and talent for executing every detail of an event, from designing and planning to outsourcing vendors and managing schedules. Our goal is to make each event unique and personal to the person or company being honored.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Although we are fairly new to the DFW area, we are excited about the endless opportunities to work with people from all walks of life. We believe our work ethic and customer service is something that sets us apart from others in our industry because we truly care about cultivating relationships with our clients to see their visions and help make them come to life.

It’s scary to think about walking away from a consistent and steady income, but we were willing to take that risk to better ourselves and make a difference in our communities.

We want the world to know that we have a goal to remain humble and focused in all that we do to make an impact in the lives of others and our community. We always want our clients to have something personal that makes their party different from anyone else they could have hired. We pride ourselves on creating something special, and for our clients to have the best experience possible.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Both having families with an entrepreneurial spirit has lead us to the position we are in now. We have been encouraged, mentored and challenged by them. As well as former coworkers and clients who enabled us to see the potential in starting our own business.
