We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Ford and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sarah, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have always been an entrepreneur. When I was 13 years old, I started a T-shirt dress and hair bow business and sold to a small business in Midland, TX. I was always looking into business and business opportunities. Before BeautiBars, I owned a weight loss and wellness company called slimGENEration. We grew to 13 locations in 3 years. After this business, I decided I wanted to get into Beauty and make women and men feel and look their best. At BeautiBars we strive to make sure every patient is 100% happy with their services and their results.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
BeautiBars is a simple concept to the med spa world. We focus on Botox, Fillers, IV Vitamin Therapy, PDO threads, Micro-Needling, and Vitamin Injections. We wanted to keep it simple and not into all aspects of what most medical spa’s offer. We pride ourselves on educating our patients so they understand why we are suggesting and doing what we will do on them. Our goal is to make each person more beautiful on the outside and understand the why’s on the inside. I have learned that most patients have not been educated and have a big lack of understanding when it comes to beauty and what they need to enhance their appearance.

Each and every patient will be treated with respect, be educated, and become more beautiful.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would eat at Nick-n-Sams in downtown Dallas for a great steak and a glass of wine. We would go to downtown McKinney Square, do some day shopping, and get a bite to eat.

We would go to MezoMia on Harry Hines for great Mexican food with great Tequilla Drinks

We would go to the Dallas Farmers Market for a great experience, great food, and meet local Dallas people and vendors

During the day we would spend time at Klyde Warren Park for some great Food trucks and a great view of the city

We would go to the Ft. Worth stockyards for great food and atmosphere and maybe catch a show. I would eat at a Chef Tim Love restaurants such as Woodshed for some unique food like quail or venison

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have to give a shoutout to my husband James Ford. He created the concept of BeautiBars, designed the logo, helped me hire the right Medical Director and staff as well as come up with the colors and theme. He is extremely creative and has an entrepreneurial mindset. He is my partner in life and in business and my best friend. I also have to say thank you to God who is my saving grace and my backbone.
