Hi Kimberly, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
After working as an RN in various hospital settings, I became disheartened by witnessing patients slipping through the gaps in healthcare. This inspired me to establish my own business to integrate natural healthcare practices with traditional medicine, ultimately aiming to provide a more comprehensive approach to patient care.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Why is Plush Different:

Trust & Communication
It is crucial to me to build a strong, trusting relationship with every patient before their surgery. I take a hands-on approach to caring for each patient. I take the time to listen to the patient’s concerns, providing clear and empathetic explanations about their care, and addressing any questions. I provide consistent support and make myself available 24/7.

Holistic Approach
I believe in taking a holistic approach to recovery and incorporating natural remedies to help support the body’s natural healing process. Each patient is unique, so I work closely with the patient to tailor a personalized recovery plan that includes both traditional and natural methods. I will create a peaceful and serene atmosphere.

Expert in Healthcare
With a background in ICU & a variety of field nursing, I have experience handling very complex patient cases. I am committed to ongoing research and collaboration with various healthcare professionals to ensure you are receiving the best care.

How did I get here?

I have reached where I am today through hard work, dedication, and a willingness to learn and adapt. I started my career by gaining experience in various industries and roles, learning from mentors, and continuously seeking opportunities for growth and development.

Throughout my journey, I have faced numerous challenges, such as financial obstacles, competition and setbacks. However, I have overcome these challenges by staying resilient, being open to feedback and advice, and constantly reassessing and refining my strategies. I have also surrounded myself with a strong support network of colleagues, friends, and mentors who have helped me navigate difficult times and provided valuable insight and guidance

What lessons you’ve learned along the way?

Through my journey of starting and growing a business, I have learned several valuable lessons:

1. Adaptability- The business landscape is consistently evolving, and the ability to adapt to change is crucial. Flexibility and openness to new ideas and strategies are essential for long-term success.

2. Resilience- Starting a new business comes with its fair share of challenges and setbacks. Building resilience and the ability to bounce back from failures is to overcome obstacles and move forward.

3. Importance of networking; Building a strong network of contacts, mentors, and advisors has been invaluable. Networking has provided me with opportunities, guidance, and support throughout my business journey.

4. Continuous learning: Willingness to learn and evolve is essential for success. Staying updated with industry trends, consumer behavior, and new technologies has been crucial in staying competitive

5. Focus on customer satisfaction: putting the customer at the center of the business has been a guiding principle. Understanding their needs, feedback, and preferences has helped me tailor products and services to better meet their expectation.

Overall, the journey of starting a business has taught me the importance of adaptability, resilience, continuous learning and the value of strong relationships in achieving long-term success.
