We had the good fortune of connecting with Holly Bellomy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Holly, how does your business help the community or world?

I like to say that I am changing lives one room at a time! We are wired to appreciate beauty and a beautiful home makes a huge impact on our outlook and mood. Each room that I design is intended to promote relaxation, inspiration, and hope. My imaginative designs are a reflection of my client’s best self.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

I create unique design plans for kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, and bedrooms. I like to think outside the box. I will often design an island, cabinet, window dressing, or piece of furniture that is a little different in order to create a special space for my clients. I work with the best professionals to successfully pull off a project and it’s fun to figure out how we can all work together to create something incredible.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

When friends come to visit I like to take them to the square in downtown McKinney. Patina Green is a place to eat yummy soup and sandwiches and Snug has tasty coffee. Shopping at the unique stores is fun. A stop at Layered for dessert ends the day nicely.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

I would like to give a shoutout to my friend and colleague, Tawna Allred. She creates beautiful hand renderings and elevations for my projects. She literally paints my designs and brings them to life! She is fun to work with and my clients love the renderings!
