Meet Breauna Dixon | Mobile Kids’ Entertainment & Craft Experience Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Breauna Dixon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Breauna, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my business came from wanting to create something that brought families together through creativity. As a mom, I saw how much children enjoy hands-on activities and how excited they get when they can make something themselves. I wanted to offer more than just entertainment; I wanted to create an experience where kids could express themselves, build confidence, and leave with something they made and were proud of.
I also wanted to build something that represented me and created a legacy for my children. Starting Charms & Things Crafts Bar allowed me to combine my passion for creativity with entrepreneurship while providing a unique service to families, schools, daycares, and community events. Seeing the smiles on children’s faces and hearing positive feedback from parents reminds me why I started this journey, and it motivates me to continue growing the business.

What should our readers know about your business?
Charms & Things Crafts Bar was created to bring creativity, fun, and meaningful experiences ot children and families. As a mother, I wanted to build something that allowed kids to express themselves through hands-on activities while creating memories they’ll never forget. We specialize in mobile craft and sensory experiences, including slime bars, personalized accessory stations, arts and crafts, and other interactive activities for birthday parties, schools, daycares, community events, and corporate family events.
What sets us apart is that we don’t just provide entertainment; we create experiences. Every event is customized to fit our clients’ vision, and we focus on making every child feel included, creative, and proud of what they create,
Like many entrepreneurs, my journey hasn’t always been easy. Building a business while balancing motherhood and a full-time career has required dedication, resilience, and faith. There have been challenges, but each one has taught me valuable lessons about perseverance, adaptability, and believing in my vision even when the road wasn’t easy.
I’m most proud of seeing how quickly the business has grown through happy clients, referrals, and repeat bookings. My goal is to continue expanding Charms & Things Crafts Bar, inspiring creativity in children, and becoming a trusted name for family entertainment throughout the DFW community. I want people to know that with passion, consistency, and hard work, it’s possible to turn an idea into something that brings joy to so many others.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My perfect week in DFW would include exploring Meow Wolf, relaxing at WorldSPrings, taking on the zip lines at Trinity Forest Adventure Park, and playing a round at PopStroke. For dood, I’d grab brunch at Brew City, enjoy Soul Food Bites for comfort food, and end the day with dinner at Perry’s Steakhouse. DFW has the perfect mix of fun, great food, and unique experiences, which is one of the reasons I love living and growing my business here.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shoutout to my children for being my biggest motivation every day. They inspire me to keep pushing, growing, and building a business that makes them proud. I’d also like ot thank my family, friends, and every client who has trusted Charms & Things Crafts Bar with their special events. Your support, encouragement, and belief in my vision have helped turn my dream into a growing business. Every booking, referral, and kind word has motivated me to continue creating memorable experiences for children and families in our community.
