We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Kael Moulton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr. Kael, we’d love to hear about your parent’s parenting philosophy and the role it played in your development.
I grew up with two of the hardest working, and most loving parents a child could ask for. My mother was a teacher and is still active on the school board. My father was a self-employed plumber that always taught me the importance of going above and beyond for the customer. I learned a lot from my parents which have shown in my practice. I grew up in a small town in Nebraska. My father taught me how you treat a customer, how you respect them, their property, and how doing the little things when no one else wants to builds a loyal customer base. We try to help our patients in every way we can, and it’s because of my parents that it is part of our practice DNA.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Let’s be honest. There are a lot of Chiropractors out there. I think the joke is, you never have to look far for a Walgreens, donut shop, or chiropractor in Texas. Personally, I love seeing it. It means our field is continuing to grow, and more people are seeking out a conservative care option rather than jumping to surgery and drugs. This does bring the question, are all Chiropractors alike? Well, I like to answer that by saying no, in fact, they are more like Baskin Robins, 31 flavors. Not all Chiropractors are the same. Just like not all MD’s are the same, or even Dentists will treat differently from office to office. Our office is not any different. We tend to stand out in our profession and community. We utilize a variety of tools such as traditional Chiropractic, but also physical therapy, and even some personal training. We believe the problem, injury, or pain has more to it’s story than a simple list of symptoms. So we use our tools to not just correct the pain, but retrain and strengthen the issues that created the pain in the first place. From bad posture, poor diet, inflexibility, weakness and instability in the body, balance/coordination, and poor gut health all play into your symptoms. It’s our goal to take a holistic approach to viewing you from every angle possible to achieve the best results possible.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Our family loves getting out to the local parks, spending time in the sun, getting dirty, and creating memories. We would have to take them to some of the best food places in town, such as Babes Chicken, followed by Oak St Pies in Roanoke. Clyde Warren park is something to truly sit in, enjoy and relax. From there, our kids love to pack the car up and hit the Coyote Drive-Inn Movies. We spend the evening listening to live music, eating snacks, concessions, and watching the newest movie from the comfort of our car.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give extra recognition to those special patients in our practice. I have learned so much from them. We make it important in our practice that a patient feels like they are part of a family. We want them to feel loved, respected, and that their opinions are valued. We have conversations around health, business, and leadership. The amount of advice my patients have given over the years could fill volumes of books. They want to see us grown, develop, and succeed. Without them, I am not sure we could have navigated all the ups and down thats entrepreneurship throws your way. It was out of the love and care in the hearts for our office that they so easily poured into us and our family. For that, I thank you all so much.
Nominate someone: ShoutoutDFW is built on recommendations and shoutouts from the community; it’s how we uncover hidden gems, so if you or someone you know deserves recognition please let us know here.
