We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Roberts and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Danielle, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Part of our cultural manifesto here is that we aim to make the impossible, possible. By investing in our Client Service Team from the very beginning of our agency, we have been able to grow a world class support channel for our Medicare insurance policyholders. This means they are never alone in dealing with Medicare. If a claim is denied or a doctor bills something incorrectly, they aren’t floundering around out there trying to figure out who to call first to fix it. They call us, every time. Our team has resolved hundreds of thousands of small hassles for our base of policyholders, and it’s made them loyal to us. They know that we will do everything possible, everything in our power, to try to resolve the issue efficiently and quickly for them. It’s the primary reason why we have over 5,000 five-star reviews from our clients online.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My brother and I worked 16-hour days for nearly 5 years to get this agency off the ground before we hired our first employee in 2010. Nothing was easy, but we look back fondly on those early days! Today, 10 years later, we have over 60 full-time employees here in our Dallas/Fort Worth call center. Through the dedication and hard work of these employees, we’ve now expanded to provide guidance and service to Medicare beneficiaries in 48 states. In the early days of our agency, most Medicare supplements were sold face-to-face across the kitchen table. We believed that baby boomer and seniors were trending toward buying their health insurance online, and so we were one of the first agencies to actively invest in growing our phone and email support. While some of the old-timers in the industry, found this laughable, it wasn’t long before we were selling scores of policies every month in other states. We built a website and have invested tens of thousands of dollars over the years into making it the very best online Medicare resource available to beneficiaries today. We also started our social media channels around 2013, and today we have 600,000 baby boomer and senior social media followers. In a nutshell, we have met our clients where they are and where they prefer to do business: online. We also strive to provide Most recently, I have also written and published a new book for Medicare beneficiaries titled 10 Costly Medicare Mistakes You Can’t Afford to Make. It was an Amazon bestseller in multiple categories in less than 48 hours. We want the world to know that we are the resource for all their questions about Medicare and that if they choose us as their broker, they will have us in their corner for the life of their policy.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would hit cowtown and go to the Friday night rodeo. We would also spend at day at the Kimball and eat dinner down in Sundance square afterward. For sure hit Heim Barbecue at least once, maybe after a day of shopping Main St in Grapevine. I also like the new Clearfork area, with Grand Cru wine bar and several other great restaurants.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We’ve been able to grow our agency through the support and guidance received from Taylor Martin and Gaylan Hendricks at Senior Security Benefits, Inc. They are one of best field marketing organizations in the health insurance industry and are luckily right here in Fort Worth.
