We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Blystone and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I was working at a grooming salon in a big box store, the dogs were super stressed out all the time as were most of us groomers. I was like well maybe if I just do one on one it will make everything better, so I took a leap and opened my own mobile dog grooming salon.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I dedicated my life to animals since I was little, I always wanted to be a vet but the thought of having to euthanize made me really upset so I chose grooming, it definitely isn’t easy but I’ve gone to many seminars and classes to keep continuing my education since the industry changes often, I put my soul into what I love and that helped me rise to where I’m at today. I do what I can to make animals look and feel great, and make their humans happy.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The gin in prosper has great food, vibes and drinks! Eddie’s Napoli in prosper also has great food and vibes! We would definitely have to go to downtown and “sightsee” The star in frisco!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband & family deserve a lot of credit, they stood behind me and supported me in every decision I ever made, they were there through the tough times when I wanted to give up.
