We had the good fortune of connecting with Bianca Grant and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bianca, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Integrity is the value that matters the most to me. I believe when a person exhibits integrity, they are trustworthy. Integrity and trust build relationships. Strong relationships allow people to grow and flourish in their personal life and business.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a Business Operations Manager for education entrepreneurs and education businesses. I have coined the term E.BOSS as our specialty, which means EDUbusiness Back Office Solutions Specialist. My company is set apart from other administrative support firms because I am a former educator turned business owner. As a former educator, I have keen insight into the world of education and what it means to serve students, parents, colleagues, and your organization to achieve the best outcome for all involved. As a business owner, I learned through trial and error how to build a cost-effective and easy-to-manage back-office by putting my business on autopilot. We now do the same for our clients with our solutions, which align back-offices through systems integration, process improvement, and automation. I am most proud of helping my clients use my services to save time and save money – two vital assets to educators. It hasn’t been an easy process. I’ve had to overcome self-doubt about my services and the value my business offers. However, after speaking with many people in my field and conducting market research, it became clear that these services are vital for business owners to grow and potentially scale. Businesses that grow and scale give our community a boost and foster growth within the community. I want the world to know that we are branded as problem-solvers. Our clients are the experts. They already look good. We just work in their back-office to make them look even better.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
On a week-long trip to Dallas, eat at Spiral Diner; the nachos are a must-have! Poke Bop, Cafe Brazil, and Fluellen Cupcakes are great places to eat as well. As far as drinking, I don’t do the bar scene, but I suggest going to visit Specs and checking out their collection of wines, liquor, and specialty foods. You have to hang out at Klyde Warren Park and eat from the food trucks. I love the Perot Museum and The Dallas Arts Museum. If you are a history buff, visit Dealey Plaza for a dose of American history. The Dallas World Aquarium is one of the best places in the city!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have to give my shoutout to my grandfather first. He paved the way for entrepreneurship in our family. My mother continued that entrepreneur spirit in our immediate family. She always had an idea, a creative mind and encouraged my siblings and me to do the same. As a result, we all have our own businesses. SCORE and Women’s Business Enterprise National Council have provided me a wealth of knowledge for starting and growing my business. I have also had lots of support from my business besties, entrepreneurs who have been working in their respective businesses for two or more years with great success. I have also benefited from a collage of mentorships and business coaches. My best friend is my rock. She talks me off the ledge, listens to ALL my ideas, and tells me when I am #teamtoomuch. Lastly, my three children are here day in day out as I take client calls, record videos, and work into the wee hours of the morning. They are uber supportive, and I don’t know what I would do without them.
