We had the good fortune of connecting with Andre Horton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andre, what’s your definition for success?
To me success means accomplishing goals in life whether that be short term or long term.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I own Arlanderz Chicken Joint here in Bedford, Texas; were we cook up some of the freshest sides and made to order chicken. We also have our own food product line which consists of our sodas, seasonings and sauce. Where it’s sold locally in our restaurant and also in grocery stores where we originated from Milwaukee WI.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely do Top Golf love the concept and you can’t get that everywhere you go. Then from there Fort Worth stockyards because horseback riding is a “thing” in Texas. Arlanderz Chicken Joint for some of the best food in the state; fresh/made to order.
Pho Big Bowl in Watauga because I haven’t had any pho like it and it’s one of my favorite meals.

Main event for some bowling and just all out fun.
Twin peaks for some good hot wings.
We would do the galleria for some shopping and so on.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mother Yvetta Horton who passed away in 2020 but believed in my vision, my godmother Michelle Graham, my wife, my father, and my spiritual parents Bishop R.J. Burt and Pastor Pat.
