How did you come up with the idea for your business?

Our community is comprised of some absolutely brilliant entrepreneurs and so we asked a few of them to tell us the story of how they came up with the ideas for their business.
Simplify your style. Empower your mind. That is what the Always Coco Collection is all about. And here is why I created it… I entered the fashion blogging world and it ended up being a bit of a struggle for me. Constantly being surrounded by other fashion bloggers, fashionistas and stylists pushing the latest trends.. I stopped buying anything with intention. And starting buying things because they were telling me too. So what I decided to do was go on a social media hiatus. And everyday for a couple weeks I decided to get dressed without the influence of others. The whole idea was to find my own personal style again. I had always wanted to start a blog and in 2017 I decided to take the plunge! I have always loved fashion and studied Fashion Merchandising at Texas Christian University. I wasn’t working in fashion at the time and wanted to have an outlet to share my style and creativity. I also have had a variety of nicknames with “Byrd” and wanted to incorporate it into my blog for a more personal touch. Read more>>
We came up with Lifestyle Valet LLC, for one purpose. We wanted to provide valet trash to apartment communities, but then something happened and we evolved. We transformed into a hub of information and resource for people wanting to start a business but not knowing where to start. The Pink Peppermint Project After losing my Aunt and 2 close friends in 2015, Using the power of beauty to transform and heal, I became an advocate and innovator for women’s health ever since. I wanted to be a resource for women through all stages of their journey. I wanted to convey an important message and wanted women to feel beautiful and know there was a support system available in their community. Through the Pink Peppermint Project I and my board of directors are committed to helping women thrive. We’ve created programs, resources, and services that Motivate, Inspire, Nurture and Transform.
