We had the good fortune of connecting with Tina Zawadzki and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tina, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
Run your business in a way that is authentic and true to you! You will get tons of unsolicited advice from friends, family, colleagues, employees and even, clients. Listen to all of that advice and then run it through your personal and professional filter to determine if can be useful to you. This is your BIG IDEA and you are the ONLY one who can drive and nurture it to your vision of success!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have a true and undeniable passion for food and cooking. I’m living my best life now that I can immerse myself in all things, FOOD! Even after a long day cooking for a client, I still come home and cook a high-quality dinner for my family. You can’t fake that passion! I bring that passion to feeding my clients with fun and interesting menus. I want the food to be so good they want to eat at home vs. going out. I believe this passion sets us apart!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We have so much to offer in DFW so this list would take a week to get through. Here goes… – Definitely catch a sporting event, we have so many major sports teams here. My personal fav is catching a Mavs game
– Local attractions – big fan of the Dallas Arboretum, our zoos are awesome both Dallas and Ft. Worth, my teenager will still ALWAYS want to go to the zoo, Perot Museum, our art museums – DMA, Kimbell and MOMA, all top notch
– I love taking cooking or food classes! Some of my favorites are cheese making at the Mozzarella Company, learning cookie decorating at Cake Carousel and any cooking class at Central Market
– Now for the eating – Mike’s Chicken; Pappadeaux in Richardson; Thai Thumbz in Richardson; grabbing breakfast at Biscuit Bar; sushi at Simon’s Sushi in Plano; Mumtaz, Indian Buffet in Richardson;

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband and daughter are my top cheerleaders! They have encouraged and supported me all throughout this process and continue to be my sounding boards every day. It’s scary to take such a big leap of faith but it’s definitely more manageable when you have fierce support.
