Hi Stephanie, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Really , it was just a dream I never really thought about starting my own business it started with just driving around looking at locations , after that my thought process was like “I’m ready to be the next big thing “

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What I’m most proud of is where I am now . I am where I am by just believing in a dream you have to chase it and work hard for it and it was not easy at all !!! I started with a really small shop til the winter storm back in February flooded it and pipes busted then I moved to the location I’m at now which was for the best ! What I’ve learned in these lessons is to remain humble and keep moving forward you never know what life will throw at u. What I want people to know about my brand/story is I named my business Marqblendz barbershop to keep my father’s legacy going our last name is Marquez I never got the Chance to make him proud he passed away back in 2014 before I could start this business and I want people to know that it’s better late then never you can a accomplish anything u have your mind on as long as you do it the right way and remain Humble that’s number one u never know if you will be back where you started and that’s what keeps me going I will never forget where I was once .

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would say we would go eat at the rustic that place was bomb when I went with a few friends also go to six flags movies others then that I don’t know I’m not much of a out and about lol

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My wife Elena for being my number one fan and always encouring me to continue going forward with my business , and a big shout out to Micheal Martinez my shop manager & friend for always putting in the biggest effort for the barbershop as if it was his own always been with me since day one when I 1st started Marqblendz barbershop ,he was there when it was our slowest days til now he’s almost booked everyday now lol and to Adrian from trending barbershop always there with his advice and wisdom learned so much from him props to him and his business
