We had the good fortune of connecting with Saru Nemkul and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Saru, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
Thank you for giving me opportunity to talk about my back ground and family. Originally, I am from Nepal. My father Rameshwor Nemkul always been my inspiration and motivation. He is one of the successful industrialist businessmen in Nepal. He has couple of textiles now. Growing up we didn’t have much but I have always seen my father working hard and making things happen. I saw him from struggling making thigs happen and becoming the employer of hundreds of workers today. He is very hardworking person and I always admire him and proud to be his daughter. He is first person who influenced me to take risk, work hard and always be humble. I have always learned hard work beat talent mentality from him. My mother is sweetest person. she had always motivated my father when he needed her. There was time when my father didn’t believe on him but my mother always had faith on him. She has always motivated him on his every decision. Growing up specially having hard working parents always taught me to work hard, to be patience and to have faith. I am what I am today is because of them.
What is the most important factor behind your success / the success of your brand?
To be successful, we always need dedication, hard work, continuity, continuous learning, growing. Honestly, I always believe in I can do better, I can grow more type of vibe. This is a craving which is very important to get success. I am better than yesterday but I want to be even better than this tomorrow kind of mentality is important to be successful. If you are happy and satisfy with what you have you are limiting yourself. There is always bigger mountain to climb. Behind my success I would always say my hard-working parent, my husband who have always motivated me. His is realtor and goal getter. He always supports me in anything I want to do. Without him being supportive, amazing husband and great father to our kids I couldn’t have done this. Him and me we both are business person so we think same way which make things a lot easier. The important fact of success of my brand is the hard work I put into it, supportive husband, my clients, my workers and obviously our honesty. Without honesty we cannot gain clients trust and without that our brand can’t get success.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, absolutely thanks to my hard-working parents always teaching me the meaning of handwork .my husband for always keeping me motivated and Our aunt Vanessa for always being there when I needed. Of course, also my kids for whom I would do anything and everything.
