We had the good fortune of connecting with Rebeca Valle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rebeca, how do you think about risk?
Years ago I would not be able to say that I was a risk taker, it wasn’t until I changed my mindset where I told myself if it’s not now then when? Whether personally or in my career, if I had not taken those risks I would not have done many things in my life including my real estate career. In my personal life I had many times where I had to choose whether to stay in my comfort zone and live a life where I was not happy or to take the risk. When I finally faced my fears that’s truly when I started to live. There’s always the what ifs but how will you ever know if you’re not willing to take that risk? Ultimately taking risks has paid off in my life on many levels.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a real estate agent I am able to help with the purchase, sale, or leasing of real estate in the state of Texas. There’s no better feeling than being able to help my clients with one of the biggest transactions of their life. As an agent I truly care about my clients and their needs. I always put myself in their position and do and lookout for their best interests only, I always want what’s best for them and do my best to assist them every step of the way. Taking the risk of going full time without having someone to depend on was a very high risk for me being a single mom of two little boys. It definitely has its struggles but at the end of the day if I had never taken that risk I would not have the career I had always dreamed about having. I always tell people I meet that there is no greater feeling than going for whatever it is that sets you free. If it’s in you, do it, if it’s always been heavy on your mind, do it. Those dreams and goals are possible you just have to start. We all have different definitions for what success looks like so create your own success story.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Family means so much to me, I’m forever grateful for both of my parents who have been supportive of my goals and ambitions throughout my life. My dad who has always taught me to be independent and that there’s nothing I cannot learn to do on my own.
