We had the good fortune of connecting with Randa Westermann and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Randa, how do you think about risk?
I have taken significant risks throughout my life, and each has profoundly shaped who I am today. One of the biggest risks I took was moving to Texas without a job or knowing anyone. Despite the uncertainty, I felt a burning desire to create a new life. Before this move, I had faced tremendous personal challenges, including battling cancer, going through a divorce, and experiencing the heartbreaking loss of my only child. These experiences left me feeling like I had nothing more to lose.
With risk often comes fear, but I chose to replace my fear with faith. I believed that despite my losses, I needed to embrace this new chapter and grow from it. My favorite quote, “Bloom where you are planted,” became my mantra.
Taking these risks has brought incredible rewards. I met my husband and found happiness in our marriage. I started a business, which I successfully sold, and have now embarked on a fulfilling career in real estate. Each risk I took opened new doors and allowed me to build a life I am proud of.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My background is in Education, having taught children for most of my adult life. My desire to be a business owner and entrepreneur started early in my life. Before I began my career as a Realtor, I worked as the Director of Training for a Color Analysis company. In this position, I helped hundreds of women start their franchise businesses, and was instrumental in the creation of curriculum materials and initial training that was necessary for them to launch successfully.

What sets me apart is the meticulous care I take with all the details and the thoughtful consideration I put into the client experience. I believe that home ownership or the desire to sell a home should be tailored to the individual’s needs and goals. More than ever the public needs to have clear understanding of the services a Realtor provides and I believe with my background, I am able to educate and offer exceptional value and exceptional service. My approach serves my clients, community and allows me to build relationships that extend well beyond the transaction.

Getting to where I am today professionally was not easy. I faced numerous challenges, but I overcame them through perseverance, faith, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. One key lesson I’ve learned along the way is the importance of genuine relationships and understanding each client’s unique story.

My brand is rooted in a deep commitment to excellence, personalized service, and long-lasting relationships. My journey from education to real estate has been driven by a passion for helping others achieve their dreams and a dedication to making every client’s experience exceptional. I have a long term goal of using my knowledge of real estate to help women of all ages learn more about finances, investments and security. I am working out the details but believe there is a need to start this education sooner and I would like to partner with or create a program that addresses these issues.

I hope to also serve as a source of inspiration to anyone that may read this article. I believe it is never too late to learn something new, and that what might seem like a closed door is an opportunity to take action to your dreams.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Since I am always focused most on providing an experience to my guests, I would offer them a list of things to do & places to eat and let them choose from the many things Frisco, Texas has to offer. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have consistently felt the support, love, and encouragement of several important people in my life. First and foremost, my husband Eric has been my rock, providing unwavering support through every challenge and triumph. Additionally, my dear friend Brooklyn Calloway has always been there for me, offering encouragement and making me laugh when I wanted to cry. Brooklyn’s mountain-moving faith and pure spunk and joy for life have been a constant source of inspiration and strength.
Another driving force in my life is my relationship with God. My faith has been a cornerstone of my resilience and growth. Reading my Bible, listening to positive podcasts, and writing in my gratitude journal have been pivotal practices. These habits have not only strengthened my faith but also opened my heart to receive and appreciate the friendship and support of others.
