We had the good fortune of connecting with Polina Tsukerman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Polina, how do you think about risk?
I believe that with no risk comes no reward. I’ve watched a lot of people in my family play it safe, and not take certain opportunities because they had to provide for their spouses and children, and at a certain point, I realized I had to break that cycle. Taking risks changed my life – I really started embracing risk around 2018, which is when I paid $5000 to break a lease so I could get out of a toxic relationship, which followed with me putting in a 4 week notice to my successful career Dec. 2019 to focus on entrepreneurship, and then deciding to drive to and move to Dallas by myself in Feb 2021.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve always had a love for astrology, but it wasn’t until last year that I decided to really take it seriously, and start using it as a tool to help others. I view astrology as a language and an art that teaches us what happens when we embrace that free will comes with an element of fate. I focus on the relationship between psychology and astrology – a concept that Carl Jung brought to the world.

There’s nothing easy about entrepreneurship, but it is rewarding. And I would’ve never been able to get to where I’m at today without my own resilience and tenacity, but equally, the people who choose to trust and believe in me when it comes to this work. I’ve learned the importance of taking things one day at a time, and that ‘success’ and ‘abundance’ look different for everyone. In moving to Dallas, I firmly believe I’m meant to make astrology a more socially acceptable subject that people can find truth in.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oh gosh, Dallas has so much to do, and SO MUCH amazing food. I would probably take my friends somewhere different to eat for every meal every day.

Since I’m located in Northern Dallas, everything I’ve come to love is over on this side. I’d definitely head over to Legacy West and The Star. I’m also a big nature lover, so would have to take them over to Arbor Hills and the Dallas Botanical Garden.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Oh, success is never a one-way street. I could never get to where I am today without my family, closest friends, and clients who have put trust in me to open the world of astrology to them. Any entrepreneur knows that they are nothing without their support system.
