We had the good fortune of connecting with Paige Strahan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paige, what do you attribute your success to?
Discipline! I think most people hear the word discipline and they associate it with the idea of a straight-laced, no fun type of lifestyle, however it has been complete opposite for me! Success to me is about making a goal and reaching it, no matter the difficulties that present. I can truly say that I have never been able to reach a goal in my life without putting in the time and effort to get there and that is what discipline is all about. I was a walk on soccer player to a D1 school where I had a dream of being a a captain and winning the team MVP award, being the underdog told me I couldn’t but being disciplined enough to wake up early every morning and put in extra work told me that I could and I graduated my senior year there accomplish both of my goals plus many more. I carried that drive and discipline with me throughout my first job where I knew I wanted to be a charge nurse and then onto running my first marathon. Waking up on a Saturday morning to run 16 miles when you are a young girl in a big city is not always fun, but I knew that the reward would be so much greater than the night out. All those times of setting a goal and then reaching it were built on big and small moments of me asking myself if this decision was drawing me closer to my goal. If the answer is no, then I go the other way. I truly believe that is what got me to where I am today. Becoming an ER nurse was a goal of mine that I am so happy I reached because it has made me see the world through a whole new set of eyes but I knew becoming an aesthetic Injector in Dallas was my long term goal. To get to where I am I made sure I engaged in every technique training offered, spoke to those that went before me to gather their insights and knowledge so that when my opportunity came I would be ready and hit it head on! Being an aesthetic nurse injector has been my dream come true but I know I would not have been able to handle it if I had not been dedicated enough to be disciplined in my life even when it was difficult. To cut out things and people that did not encourage and better me as a person. To go the extra mile in practice or trainings. To work two FULL time jobs for a 3 month period so that I could reach the career goal that I had set for myself. I am so happy to be where I am in my career now as an Aesthetic Injector however I am most proud at the growth inside myself that brought me here, all from being driven, dedicated, and disciplined to big and tiny goals!

What should our readers know about your business?
I am an Aesthetic Nurse Injector focusing on a full face assessments and profile balancing. Profile balancing is basically just creating harmony and balance to your nose, lips, and chin from a side profile view and we do this with dermal filler. My goal with each and every client is to make them feel more beautiful inside and out. At the beginning of the appointment I always sit down with my client and listen to them on what they would like to enhance with their appearance and together we create a treatment plan to get us to our goal. There are many different avenues we can go when it comes to taking care of our skin, from hydrafacials, serums, lasers, neurotoxin, dermal filler, etc. and i make sure we incorporate all of them so we can have a well balanced plan to get us to our best results. What I want people to know about aesthetics whether it be neurotoxin, kybella, sculptra, or dermal filler is that you can do all these things to enhance your looks and STILL look natural! That is my absolute goal, to artistically create balance and shape to an already beautiful canvas all while keeping your face youthful and natural. I feel passionately about my job because we only get one face and one set of skin throughout our entire lifetime so we might as well take care of it!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love trying all the new things in the DFW area. That is one of my favorite things about living in Dallas is there is always a new adventure to be taken and there are many different areas to explore whether that be Deep Ellum, Knox-Henderson, West Village or downtown! Some of my favorites are rooftop drinks at Catbird in downtown, A wine night at Postinos in deep ellum or maybe some margaritas and tacos at Mi Cocina in Highland Park village. I would definitely recommend grabbing some coffee and Fiction coffee and then a stroll through Turtle Creek Park and through the Katy trail

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God! Any time something in my life got difficult or I didn’t believe that something would work out the way I had hoped I would hear him say “ I wouldn’t bring you here just to leave you here” and that kept me going.

My family, friends, jobs and every organization that I have ever been apart of has also shaped me and encouraged me during every moment of my life.
