Hi Paige, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Being scared of the unknown is normal but letting that feeling overpower your life and control you will stop you from reaching your potential. Most people are paralyzed by their fears. They become so afraid to take a step out of their comfort zone and take risks that they stay complacent. They fear failure, they fear rejection and they fear, fear. Having courage against your fears doesn’t mean you don’t get scared, It’s ok to be scared. Having courage against your fears just means you didn’t let fear stop you from trying.
Sometimes life is about risking everything for a dream that no one sees but you. Refuse to reform your life because you’re scared of the unknown or you’re too afraid to take risks. DECLARE TO HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE! Use your energy not to worry but to believe. You might find out something about yourself that’s special and that you’re really passionate about. Something that lights your soul on fire and if you fail trying… who freaking cares!!! Doing things you‘re afraid of, going beyond your comfort zone, taking risks that scare the hell out of you… NOW THAT IS WHAT LIFE IS ABOUT!!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I feel there are so many people who go to their graves with their lives un-lived.. All their life they might have been over weight and they think there is just no way that they could ever be in shape. They had a baby and lose confidence since their drastic postpartum journey and they become really down on themselves. Maybe they’ve had an unhealthy relationship with food and want that piece of their life back again. Someone might be an emotional eater, afraid of weight training, or were active in sports growing up and since they have gotten older are less active but now they put on some weight and they just don’t know where to begin. I choose to create a climate of hope, give the resources needed for my clients to succeed (long term)and help them recognize the potential that they too have locked deep down inside them to reach their greatest goals. I know how living a healthier lifestyle has impacted my life and I want to share it with others!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well first and foremost we’d have to get a workout in. paradigm gym on live oak and skillman has a little bit of everything and also provides a fun energetic atmosphere! Then of course we’d head over to iCRYO in Preston Hollow center for the best after workout recovery in town. With services like cryotherapy, infrared sauna and compression boots you really can’t go wrong. From there I would stop in at oishii for hands down the best sushi spot in all of Texas. (Get the Tribeca (sandwich w/truffle) and fresh salmon tacos) You can thank me later!!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My grandmother! She has done more for me than I can ever thank her for. Has always been there for me.
