We had the good fortune of connecting with Nick Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nick, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always loved helping people, and metaphysical healing is a way that seemed to draw others to me. I began creating spells to ease others through their journeys and realized that if this became a business, I could potentially help many more people.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I create many forms of spells with different intentions! My products range from hand-poured candle spells with herbs and essential oils, to spell jars, wrapped crystal jewelery, and witchy art. Everything I create began as a passion and a hobby for me and my desire to help more people through my work grew with the business. I take pride in the energy and thought I put into every single piece; even if it’s not a custom item, I want it to be personal to whoever gives my work a home!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting, I would take them all around DFW! I may be a little biased being from Denton, but I’d definitely go to Denton Square and check out all of the shops there. Some of my favorite places in Denton Square include LSA Burger for their incredible burgers and live music, Beth Marie’s Ice Cream for my favorite ice cream in town, Jupiter House for their amazing coffee, and The Storm Witch, a metaphysical shop that I work at!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I work at a metaphysical shop in Denton, TX called “The Storm Witch” and the owner, Anna Katz, is one of the most inspiring people I know. She really helped me gain the confidence to put myself out there and start a business in something I’m passionate in. With her encouragement, along with support and encouragement from my partner, friends, and family, I have been able to make this dream a reality!

Met Nick at his pop up shop in Denton. I appreciate him putting himself out there because I found exactly what I was needing and looking for easily.
