We had the good fortune of connecting with Bianca Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bianca, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Risk has played a significant role in both my personal and professional growth. I don’t view risk as something to avoid, but rather something to evaluate carefully. I believe the greatest opportunities often require stepping outside of your comfort zone.
Throughout my career, I’ve taken on challenges that others might have considered uncertain—from managing multiple locations and leading teams through periods of change to building my own business, Certified Notary Express, while maintaining a full-time leadership role. Each of those decisions required faith, preparation, and a willingness to embrace the unknown.
Some risks have led to immediate success, while others have provided valuable lessons. Either way, I believe growth comes from being willing to bet on yourself. I’ve learned that calculated risks, combined with hard work and adaptability, often lead to the most rewarding outcomes.
Looking back, many of the opportunities that have shaped my career came from saying “yes” before I had every answer and trusting that I could learn, grow, and figure things out along the way.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
One of the things I’m most proud of is building Certified Notary Express, a concierge-style notary and apostille company founded on the belief that important life moments deserve exceptional service. We specialize in simplifying complex document authentication processes, offering white-glove support for individuals, families, and businesses who need documents notarized and apostilled for international use. What sets us apart is that we don’t simply process paperwork—we guide our clients from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and peace of mind during what can often be stressful or time-sensitive situations.
My entrepreneurial journey didn’t begin overnight. Throughout my career, I’ve held leadership roles in operations, sales, and customer experience, eventually becoming an Area General Manager overseeing multiple locations. Those experiences taught me how to build relationships, lead teams, solve problems, and deliver exceptional service. At the same time, I felt called to create something of my own—something that would allow me to serve others while creating a legacy.
It certainly wasn’t easy. Like many entrepreneurs, I had to learn how to balance a full-time career, family responsibilities, and building a business from the ground up. There were moments of uncertainty, setbacks, and times when I questioned whether I could do it all. But I’ve learned that success isn’t about avoiding challenges—it’s about remaining resilient and committed to your vision even when progress feels slow.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that growth requires patience and faith. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Some of the greatest opportunities come from simply taking the first step and trusting yourself enough to keep going. I’ve also learned that relationships matter. Business is ultimately about people, and I believe genuine care, integrity, and excellent service will always stand out.
More than anything, I want people to know that my brand is built on service and purpose. I want Certified Notary Express to be known not just for getting documents done, but for making people feel supported, informed, and cared for throughout the process. My story is proof that you can pursue multiple dreams, reinvent yourself, and create something meaningful regardless of where you start.
At the end of the day, I hope my journey encourages others—especially women and aspiring entrepreneurs—to believe in themselves, embrace growth, and understand that success is not always linear. Sometimes the path is messy, but with perseverance, faith, and a commitment to serving others, incredible things are possible.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting the Dallas-Fort Worth area for a week, I’d make sure they experienced a little bit of everything because one of the things I love most about North Texas is how much there is to do.
We’d definitely spend a day at EpicCentral in Grand Prairie, which has become one of my favorite destinations. Between the restaurants, entertainment, scenic walking areas, and family-friendly atmosphere, it’s easy to spend an entire day there. We’d probably grab dinner and just enjoy the vibe.
Another must-see would be the Fort Worth Stockyards. There’s just something special about the mix of Texas history, live music, great food, and the daily cattle drive. Whether you’re a local or a first-time visitor, the Stockyards always deliver a memorable experience and capture the spirit of Texas.
For some thrills, we’d head over to Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. It’s a classic Texas experience and a fun way to spend a day riding roller coasters and feeling like a kid again.
If we’re looking for something a little more competitive and high-energy, we’d check out Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. Between the go-karts, arcade games, and entertainment, it’s hard not to have a great time.
I’d also make sure we took a trip to The Colony to visit the Cosm. Watching a sporting event or immersive experience there is unlike anything else. It’s one of the coolest and most unique entertainment venues in the area and definitely something people should experience for themselves.
Of course, no trip would be complete without enjoying some great food and taking in the culture that makes DFW so special. What I love most about this area is that you can experience big-city entertainment, small-town charm, world-class dining, and uniquely Texas traditions all within a short drive. There truly is something for everyone, and that’s what makes living here so exciting.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are several people and experiences that have shaped my journey, but first and foremost, I have to give credit to my family. Their love, encouragement, and belief in me have been a constant source of strength throughout my career and entrepreneurial journey.
I also owe a great deal to the mentors, leaders, and colleagues who have invested in me over the years. Some have challenged me, some have advocated for me, and others have simply believed in my potential before I fully saw it myself. Every opportunity, piece of advice, and difficult conversation helped shape the leader I am today.
Beyond individuals, I would give a special shoutout to the power of lifelong learning. Books, leadership programs, and professional development opportunities have continually expanded my perspective and reinforced the importance of growth, resilience, and servant leadership.
If I had to dedicate my shoutout to one group, it would be to the people who quietly pour into others without expecting recognition. Teachers, mentors, parents, coaches, and leaders who choose to encourage, guide, and uplift others often don’t realize the lasting impact they have. I am a product of many people who took the time to invest in me, and I hope to pay that forward by doing the same for others.
