Hi Leo, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
customer service, good food and treating every single guest as a family!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
All those years I really learned how to be consistent on everything I do and always taking pride on how I grown and having a lot passion for everything I do.
After retiring from soccer, I pack my luggage and left for London to learn English and do different experience then soccer.
I was ready for anything and never worked in restaurant business! My dream was come in USA and follow the American dream. I start to work as bar back in british pub and after one month I’ve been promoted as a bartender.
Then I had opportunity to be part og BICE GROUP (international italian fine dining restaurant) and they give an opportunity and their location in LOndon.
After about 1 year and half, they offer me to go in MIami! And finally my dream came true!
With Bice I work with a lot of professionals and had a lot of Mentors and did my way up and give me the opportunity to go into management…
From there I went next level!
I have to say thank you to Raffaele e Roberto Ruggeri, Bernardo Nolfo and last to Alberto Lombardi that teach me the most important thing: how to treat employees and guest!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them at the shops of Legacy West. Have them to tour few restaurant for appetizers and at Kai for a more fun and lounge place
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have to say that on my career I had several figure as a mentor and I’ve been very lucky to work around the world with a lot of professionals.
Working with Bice Group definitely i had a lot to learn and I developpe my professional career.
Past 5 years I worked for Alberto Lombardi and I think was my final experience to go next level and open my own restaurant
Also my Partner Bernardo Nolfo has been a mentor for all those years, beside a friend!
