We had the good fortune of connecting with Kenni Sosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kenni, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I wouldn’t call it risk taking I would call it stepping out on faith. I would of never thought in a million years I would be a barber. If I didn’t get out of my own way I wouldn’t have seen what God can do in my life. There a song where the gentleman says “You can’t fly till you jump” shuck to me is the perfect analogy for taking risk. How would you ever know what’s on the other side if you don’t at least try.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
It’s no way around it even with all the money in the world you’re going to have to work hard. They never to me it would be easy. Going to barber college I stayed out of my car, at friends house and nothing deterred me away from my goal of becoming one of the best barbers DFW have seen. Lesson will happen but it’s up to you if you will learn from them. My biggest fear that I dealt with was worried about what people thought of me but in this game that’s the last this that you need to be concerned about. I want the world to understand no one in this world is perfect. Everyone have flaws but you can do any if you just apply pressure.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them out on the night scene in Dallas, The have to experience fuel city. Uptown Dallas on a Sunday is the place to be
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First giving all praises to God cause with out him I know I couldn’t do it. Shout out to the people that didn’t believe in me cause a lot of that fueled my fire to get up and go do something with my life.
