We had the good fortune of connecting with Julie Ann Lucky and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Julie Ann, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk is an essential part of both personal and business growth. Life is truly about embracing the unknowns and that also applies to business. If no risk is involved, then you can’t see major growth or change. Risk has been key to my business because you only grow personally when things are uncomfortable. The growth of your business is directly rated to how much the owner has grown personally. Risk is essential part of both personal and business growth. What should our readers know about your business?
My business is all about helping others look better, feel better, and perform better. In 2014, Monat Global launched in the USA promoting natural based anti aging haircare products that can be used by people of all hair types. We moved into natural based anti aging skincare in 2019. In 2020, we launched a wellness line that focuses on nourishing the body with nutrients that promote great skin and hair! Because the products are so cutting edge and life-changing, we offer an opportunity for others to join as a market partner which would be similar to owning a franchise. This allows people of all walks of life an opportunity to work from home! Our product marketing and company culture set us apart as well as the fact that many find success when they partner with Monat. We also have opportunities to build community with like minded individuals. Many are looking for community and Monat provides that opportunity to work as a team towards a common goal. There have been many challenges along the way which is what makes entrepreneurship so rewarding! If it were easy, everyone would do it! I have learned to be in a mindset of constantly looking for ways to improve personally. By owning my own business, it has made me a better mom, wife, and leader. What I would like for people to know about me is the fact that I love seeing others succeed. I operate my business with a very familiar motto: “ If you help enough people be successful, then you will automatically be successful.” I am a big believer in team support. I want all people on my team to feel valued and welcomed regardless of their reason for joining! I want everyone to feel special and reach their full potential focusing on their God given strengths!Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would go to Anamia’s restaurant for some fabulous Tex Mex food! I would also take them to Bob’s Steakhouse on another night! Secondly, I would take them to the JFK Museum! We would also visit Reunion Tower. What gets me most excited is taking them to great restaurants with a fun inviting atmosphere. Hanging out, having a great waiter, and seeing interesting people along with great conversation is what I consider to be most fun! Dallas is a city full of great food and fun!Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My loving husband, Joel Lucky, has always been very supportive of my entrepreneurial endeavors so I’m forever grateful for his love and support!
