We had the good fortune of connecting with Julian Placino and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Julian, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I often found myself being invited to speak about personal branding because of my podcast and Linkedin presence. This led to companies having me teach their teams how to brand themselves online. Today, I help sales teams build an online personal brand, win trust, generate leads, and land more meetings by teaching the skill of content marketing.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Discover. Serve. Grow. This is the Pathway to Success and key to developing an authentic brand. DISCOVER your strengths and uniqueness. Use them to SERVE others. As a result, you and your customers GROW. This is why I’m so passionate about personal branding. It’s more than a marketing strategy to me. It’s the art of drawing out then presenting the best version of an individual to the world.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My fiance and I love Rise No1 near Preston Hollow. They’ve got the best souffles around!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Dan Hughley, Marketing Manager at Focusrite. Focusrite was my first podcast sponsor. Dan and Focusrite believed in me since the very beginning of my podcasting journey. Focusrite was instrumental in helping me grow as a podcaster, build an audience, and ultimately develop insights about personal branding which is the core of my business.
