We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Noble and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jennifer, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Research. Lots and lots of research. When I come up with a new idea, I research all the factors involved so I can create a plan that is fully functional and successful.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a sugar artist, my creations don’t last very long, except in the hearts and minds of those I create them for. I get to be a small part of people’s most important life celebrations. It’s not something I take lightly and I put a piece of my heart into each and every thing I create. With over 25 years of experience and thousands of hours of classes and training from renowned sugar artists all over the globe, this journey has been a long yet rewarding one.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In Fort Worth, The Stockyards are great and fun for everyone. As an artist, the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens, the Museum of Science and History, and the Kimbell Art Museum are all a must. At home, in Biloxi, MS, it’s the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum to really learn how my hometown was born, and the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art for all the beautiful art and beautiful views of the Mississippi Sound.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
ICES…the International Cake Exploration Societe’. This organization has helped me become successful in my business and my life. The camaraderie and connections I’ve made through this organization have allowed me to have an international system of support for all areas of my business.
