We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacee Herl and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jacee, how does your business help the community?
When starting my own business my main vision and goal was to create a safe place where ALL are welcome to come and be themselves. The Way is an all inclusive brand that promotes body positivity. I believe my business helps my community by giving people the confidence to learn to love themselves, flaws and all. It’s truly so much more than getting an incredible spray tan.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I use the top on the line professional spray tanning solution- Dolce Glow, there is truly nothing like it on the market. I was trained and certified by celebrity spray tan artist Isabel Alysa out of LA and use her brand exclusively. I build true genuine relationships with my clients and bring them the absolute best of the best.

It’s so important to just take the chance on yourself, so many of us don’t and that’s the biggest mistake you could ever make. My journey has been far from easy many highs and many lows. My business was booming in another state and I chose to take the chance and move to Dallas for more opportunity, I’ve had to build from the ground up. I’m a firm believer in the best things in life take time, perseverance, and a whole lot of heart. No rain no flowers.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by so many incredible people and entrepreneurs that have encouraged my journey and business. I’ve found so much inspiration through others. My best friend Kendra- owner of Kendrako.photograpghy who helps me with all my creative work and encourages my ideas daily, Bridget- owner of Salon Black who has inspired me to push the norm and truly be myself, Isabel Alysa- owner of Dolce Glow even with her huge platform has continued to help, encourage and inspire my spray tan journey, and my daughter Rowen who all of this is truly for she’s the true inspiration.

All you really ever need is just one person to believe in you.
