Hi Gina and Candi, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind us is our strategic focus in leadership, management & planning. We understand the purpose of the event & know our audience in order to transform creative ideas into something tangible; making our clients the ROCKSTARS! We are highly organized, personable & engaging with clients & guests. So many memories should be celebrated!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
social214 Events offers full event planning + design + coordination. Our ability to have an open mind definitely sets us apart! It’s not about us it’s about our clients & client needs. Whether it be their vision, needing help with a vision or brainstorming creative ideas. – We are excited to see the seeds of our dream start to sprout! – Anyone in the event world knows it is not easy. It requires ambition, dedication, motivation + so much more! That is how we have gotten to where we are today. – There is no escaping challenges, we encourage them as they allow us to put our critical thinking to the test in a moments notice. It is most important to handle challenges respectfully & seamlessly. – Lessons we have learned are “prepare for rain even when it’s sunny”, “big journey’s start with small steps”, “Actions speak louder than words”, “you can’t please everyone”, “time is precious, use it wisely”. – We want the world to know we are two young ladies following a dream!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Dallas has so much to offer with tasty food, delicious cocktails & amazing retail shops. Greenville Ave, Deep Ellum & Bishop Arts are some of our favorite areas. Alamo Club on Greenville is an awesome spot with a friendly upscale atmosphere. Dots Hop House is a great place for Sunday Funday with it’s huge outside dog friendly patio from there you can walk right over to Jade & Clover & create your very own terrarium. Paradiso is great for date night then hoping over to Revelers Hall for a cocktail & live jazz music. Also, White Rock Paddle Co is a place you can rent kayaks or paddle boards & get out on the water for some fun! Speaking of fun, if you’re into music Dos Equis Pavillion is the spot to catch a concert & jam.
