We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabrielle Glasper and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gabrielle, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always had aspirations to have my own business . I knew that this wouldn’t be an easy road but I knew that this is what wanted. In order to have a successful business systems must be in place. Being a business owner sometimes you have to learn as you go which isn’t always easy but learning and growing from your mistakes is what its all about.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My name is Gabrielle Glasper and I am the owner of Gourmet Eatz. We are a meal prep company that ships meals across the United States. We have been in business since October of 2020. We take pride in offering healthy, gourmet meals, that’s delivered to your door. What set us apart is that we don’t serve boring food. When meal prepping it can be hard at times to because most companies repeat the same menu and the same boring chicken & broccoli meals. Here at Gourmet Eatz we change the menu weekly along with our customer favorites. Some of our signature dishes is our rosemary infused lamb chops with whipped potatoes an garlic & herb spinach. We are so excited to soon venture into bariatric meal prep. This is something I share deeply because I recently had Bariatric surgery with a total loss of 100lbs. During the healing process I realized how vital it is to have guidance and meals ready to go. We will soon offer a bariatric meal plan that will help assist others during the process. We will be there to help others through every stage liquid, pureed & healthy eating. This hasn’t been an easy road but I will continue to grow personally & professionally. The best way to overcome the challenges faced in owning a business is to learn & grow . Nothing is perfect in life but take the challenges and focus on how to better whatever it is. We are all on our own personal healthy journey you don’t have to be the finished product to help others in their journey.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are so many adventurous things to do in Austin. With being a foodie we would definitely stop at some of the best restaurants in town. Maggio’s Little Italy & Moonshine would be our first stop. Along with a great hiking trip around the downtown river.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My story isn’t just about me and the success I have accomplished this has taken a village. I have an amazing support system that has help guide me. My husband has been my biggest supporter anything I have ever asked for he always helps with no problem. From creating my brand, creating my website or any support that I have ever needed he is always there I dedicate this shoutout to my husband & best friend.
