We had the good fortune of connecting with Eliana Roseberry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eliana, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I work on every piece of furniture as if it’s the most important, the most precious and the only piece I’ve ever painted To me if it’s not good enough to be in my home, it’s not good enough to go to yours.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Painters come in many variations. I focus my art on furniture and cabinets. Yes, it’s still art. I can take the ugliest duckling and make it look like the prettiest swan in the pond again. I save pieces from the land field and I give life to items people don’t think have any life left in them. I also save old homes history by refreshing old Cabinetry and helping it look amazing again for many years to come.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I would take them to eat “real tacos” at one of the local meat markets. My favorite is La Michoacána in Carrollton. I love gas station food but it better be gourmet so let’s go to Chef Pointe Cafe in Watauga We must have the best ice cream at Kilwins at Shops of Legacy. Let’s go shopping downtown Plano at Lyla’s because they have the cutest boutique clothes and from there let’s hop on over to my shop inside Frisco Mercantile for the best painted furniture, antiques and unique gifts and home decor 😉

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband. Without Mr. Why Not my business would’ve nearly impossible. He is the muscle, the carpenter and the patient one when things don’t go right and that happens often.
