We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Kevin Myers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr. Kevin, what do you attribute your success to?
I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty training and certification in sports medicine. Becoming a successful and skilled orthopedic surgeon is a long and arduous road filled with years of intense determination, sacrifice, and focus. Even after the 10+ years and 40,000 hours of training are complete, we continue to improve, stay up to date, and develop new techniques. The field of orthopedics is always advancing, with the goal of providing the best patient care and outcomes possible. I owe all of my success to my wife, parents, and family – their continuous support of my career has allowed me to be where I am today. I see many athletes and patients of all activity levels for injuries, musculoskeletal pain, or limitations My profession is very rewarding – I am able to get people back to the activities they enjoy, restore function, and improve their quality of life with non-surgical and surgical intervention.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My practice is named OrthoTexas and we have multiple locations in Plano, Frisco, and Carrollton. We have board-certified physicians covering all of the different orthopedic specialities: hand, spine, foot & ankle, joint replacement, sports medicine, knee, shoulder, hip, and pain management. Our locations offer early morning walk-in hours, no appointment necessary, and extended evening hours. We have x-ray, Physical Therapy, casting, bracing, and MRI on-site. All of the doctors strive to provide top-notch care for our patients, and we have an open and collegial environment.
