We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Frank Musmar and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr. Frank, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Work-life balance is the state of equally prioritizes the demands of career and the demands of life. The imbalance reason is poor time management; therefore, we cannot separate the terms of work-life balance from time management. The significant side effect of poor time management is stress, which will eventually affect the balance. My balance changed over time after I reached a balance without stress by prioritizing all my demands and setting a time frame to accomplish all the demands within the time frame (day, week, etc.).
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I work with many Universities, Academic institutions, and Journals. However, my personal business is Editors Dissertations and Thesis,https://www.editorsdissertationsandthesis.com/ a global editing and proofreading company. I founded the company on the ideals that helping students achieve their educational goals can bring positive social change. My goal was to offer a service at a low cost and provide clients with feedback to help them succeed and grow in their academic journeys. During my educational career, I experienced the frustration that students experience and I decided to give them a professional alternative to help them every step of the way to transform their educational dreams into a reality.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I reside in Texas, a state that offers countless places for fun and adventure. Texas is diverse geographically and culturally, offering a wealth of unique attractions in many cities, coastal beaches, mountains, and deserts, counting but limited attractions such as; San Antonio’s River Walk, The Alamo, Space Center Houston, Big Bend National Park, Padre Island National Seashore, The Texas State Capitol in Austin, The Sixth Floor Museum, Dallas, Guadalupe Mountains National Park, The Fort Worth Stockyards, Galveston’s Beaches & Strand Historic District, The USS Lexington, Corpus Christi, Natural Bridge Caverns, and Houston’s Museum District.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I give my success credit to my father, a man that never hesitated to support me along the way with wisdom and life experiences.
