We had the good fortune of connecting with Dorothy Cross and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dorothy, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Precise GLO this business started in late March 2021 on me working at a famous corporate dental franchise in Frisco, Tx. I saw how the office was hiring new management and new dental offices and I was training new dental assistant’s each quarter. I eventually became friends with a new dentist and he inspired me to find a career and start my own dental company. I found an amazing hygienist and took extra courses to help me get started on my own teeth whitening journey. This brand is all about helping clients feel empowered and educated people on maintaining oral health care.

What should our readers know about your business?
Precise GLO is a medical and dental business. We offer a variety of whitening treatments. We also are doing botox and lip flip. We have a professional MD that does the consultation process before treatment’s are done. This business was not easy to do. You have to have medical experts and legal team to help you from the ground up. The lessons I have learned through the medical and dental journey is to have medical professionals around that are willing to help you achieve your goals. This cosmetic industry is a good marketing business but you have to have good networking strategy to survive. The only challenges that I have faced in starting the business is a lot of closed mined doctors did not want to help me with anything on Md referral to do Botox. I heard lots of no’s or your not allowed before a one yes Md that will work with me. I really want people to know that in order to take off on your business and keep to grow is all about consistent. No one will really support you as much as you do yourself. When you get a few people that support you just make sure you are all on same page to grow your brand.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Favorite places in the city are the Trulucks restaurant in downtown Dallas area. This has the best seafood in town. It is very elegant place and has a nice scenery to enjoy a romantic date or a celebration for a job. The hang out spot in the city would be the The Star District. This is Frisco popular spots for new money entrepreneurs to meet and enjoy networking and great entertainment. They have amazing restaurants and shopping center. The Glen Restaurant is very poplar and after eight pm it turns into a night club. The best Daiquiri shop is Daq’s Luxury Lounge in Plano , Tx. It is very clean and up to date and modern looking. Looking to have fun then the best place to go in Dallas will be Madhatter Gin Tea Party. This place is nice for a date and it’s like a theatrical event and do offer non alcoholic beverages as well. It’s like a maze before you enter the theater. In Sherman you want to check out Luminess Beauty for eye lashes and eyebrows and massages as well. If you are big on relaxing and like to relax and detox. The Zen Bar in Sherman Tx offers sauna and B12 shots and lots of detox products to help with weigh loss.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give thanks to my husband Douglas Nyabwari on this journey of helping me launch my business. My sister Jessica Cross for helping me with the legal aspect of it and helping me on marketing and networking. My new business partner Luminess Beauty in Sherman, Tx. We are merging together and have seen growth in our clients and want to expand in 2023 in the Dallas area.
