We had the good fortune of connecting with Christopher Bowen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christopher, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The important factor behind the success of our brand is our commitment to quality work and good customer service. We want work that we can put our name on and will be proud to tell everyone that we completed that project. We also have a focus on making sure our clients are happy with their work. Sometimes that means redoing certain things when we know it’s technically correct but they don’t like the style.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have gotten as far as I have by being personable, approachable and professional. I personally try to communicate with our construction clients at least once during the sales process and then again during the construction process. I believe having good communication and showing the clients you care can go a long way. I’ve learned many things along the way in business but most of it has to do with having systems in place so that you can scale properly. Many of things we do at Bowen Pools are to be able to have automated systems in place for dealing with people who aren’t happy with work all the way to automated billing and accepting credit cards for all transactions.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Whenever we have people come from out of town we always take them for BBQ at somewhere like 407 BBQ in Argyle or for Tex-Mex at places like Fresco’s in Highland Village. We like to take them places they don’t have where they are visiting from.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a shout out to my wife and family. They always support me 100% and want to see me as successful as possible.
