We had the good fortune of connecting with Ceara Williams-Rowe and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ceara, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
Work life balance isn’t easy for me especially as a full time business owner of two businesses, a mom, and a wife. For me I look at balance as something that isn’t easy but something that is necessary in order to live a fulfilled life. Pouring too much into one thing isn’t healthy, so balance is very important. My life has changed tremendously over the years. As business grows things get busier and keeping up with balance gets harder, however I continue to remember the importance of balancing family & business, and things seem to always work out.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is a thriving Interior Design Company called N’style Home Decor Interior Designs, LLC located in the DFW area. We offer full interior design services including: Interior Decorating, Remodeling, Custom Builds, Commercial Designs, Exterior Designs, and many more. At N’style we take pride in servicing all of our clients with world class service, and unique designs created just for you. Our goal is to be personal, and professional at all times. We truly believe in making Interior Design Dreams come true. At N’style we make our clients feel like family. We believe in a relaxed design experience while you enjoy the fruits of your labor. I am where I am today by not giving up. Being black in the Interior Design world has its many challenges. From feeling underpaid, and over worked in the past there were moments I wanted to give up. The reward is worth it and to see the growth financially, & mentally is very humbling. Take care of yourself, learn to set boundaries, and accept the downfalls that come with entrepreneurship, and you will be just fine.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Whewww thats hard, lol I work and spend most of my time with my family. I would say you could go downtown, or uptown for a night out. I would take them to an amusement park, shopping, good restaurants, and introduce them to delicious tacos.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to recognize my husband who is also my business partner. He works so hard behind the scenes and without him our business wouldn’t be what it is today. Thank you babe I love you
