Meet Brad/Baddy | Classic Car Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brad/Baddy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brad/Baddy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have always had a passion for custom cars and hot rods. Bringing something back to life and making it better. The satisfaction of seeing the customers reaction and excitement of their cherished vehicle exceeding their expectations. I worked for a few other shops in my career, learned from my peers and furthered my skills. It’s no secret there are some less than par shops out there, I wanted to be different. We built a shop with values, building cars with integrity, excellence and most importantly, being honest and trustworthy.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Baddy’s garage focuses on passion, Integrity and excellence. I believe these are important qualities to having growth and a successful future. It has been a long journey to get where we are today. Dedication, hard work and long hours. I started this business in March of 2006, based in the North Fort Worth area. In 2025 we decided to re-brand and move the shop to Weatherford, TX. Focusing on repair, performance and restoration of classic vehicles. The classic car community in Parker County is very active with monthly car shows, events, cruises and charities. It did not take long for us to get noticed for our passion and work. We are excited to be a part of this car community and make an impact here in Parker County.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Weatherford is a growing city with a small-town country hospitality. It’s a great place to a take classic for a cruise. Stop in on the square for a well-crafted cocktail or glass of wine at Zenos on the Square before heading South for a scenic country drive down Texas Highway 51. Cruising through Granbury square, a popular spot for classic car shows. Making sure to stop off at Rio Brazos Grill on the cruise back for a chef crafted live-fire grilled dinner served with Texas hospitality.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I got my first job as an Automotive Technician at a BMW dealership right out of high school. I worked there for a few years gaining experience and knowledge. Learning the newest technology in the auto industry was fun but there was something missing from it. A friend told me about a local performance shop needing a technician. I contacted the owner Scott Whitehorn at A&S automotive and set up an interview. His shop specialized in classic and high-performance vehicles. Scott was a master technician with almost 30 years in the industry at the time. I was excited to be a part of what he was doing. I learned a lot during my time at A&S, a good foundation and confidence to start my own business.
