We had the good fortune of connecting with Annie Trinhphan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Annie, is there something you believe many others might not?
One piece of conventional advice that I disagree with is “Follow the Industry Norms”. While it is crucial to stay up to date within the automotive industry and maintain up-to-date equipment, merely adhering to established practices can stifle innovation. As a female Vietnamese owner in a predominantly male-dominated industry, I’ve made it a point to challenge these conventional norms. At JP Auto Collision, we constantly seek innovation, improvement, and of course quality. I’ve often encountered stereotyping based on my gender and ethnicity.
However, by challenging these stereotypes and achieving success in a male-dominated field, we hope to inspire others to pursue their passions regardless of societal expectations. Diverging from conventional norms also gives us the opportunity to build our unique brand identity. Our commitment to quality, attention to detail and inclusivity sets us apart from competitors and resonates with customers who value these principles. Furthermore, our team is always encouraged to think outside of the box and explore new techniques/technologies that can enhance the quality of our work and overall customer experience.

What should our readers know about your business?
At JP Auto Collision, we stand out by prioritizing quality over quantity, ensuring that each vehicle receives meticulous care and attention to detail. Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has earned us a reputation for reliability and precision. Despite facing challenges as a female Vietnamese owner in a male-dominated industry, we’ve persevered, staying true to our principles and never compromising on quality. Through this dedication, we’ve built a thriving business that reflects our passion for automotive excellence. We’re proud of our journey and excited to continue exceeding customer expectations with the highest standards of craftsmanship and care.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A special shoutout to my mom and dad! They have both taught me everything I know, from running a successful business to the ins and outs of cars. I grew up observing their hard work and dedication as they sold all sorts of things in Vietnam in order to provide for our family. Their unwavering support and love have shaped me into the woman that I am today.
