We had the good fortune of connecting with Ambyr Womack and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ambyr, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
The seed of The Alert Home Spa originated when I was about 8 years old. Once a year my grandmother would ask her to declutter, purge and organize different rooms in her home. Unknowingly, she instilled a passion in me for detailing living spaces. 25 years later, I am able to monetize my passion of organization to make my clients’.

What should our readers know about your business?
Alert Home Spa is more than a cleaning and organization business- its ministry. Since adopting the mindset of ministry (servitude) our thoughts shifted from “i gotta do this” to “I get to do this”. Our number one goal is to service our customers and lead them to a clean and functional life. This approach has yielded many open doors both near and far. Its been a journey leading up to this point, but I know with this mentality. many more opportunities are up the road.

Alert Home Spa is a reliable and integral company that looks beyond the clutter, junk, trash and chaos and supports the need(s)– by any means necessary.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I grew up in Detroit Michigan (Motown), so if a concert is in town- count me in. LOL A typical fun week for me would be trying out new restaurants, preferably restaurants that have live music. Shopping is always in order (thrift, boutiques, malls). I enjoy cooking so i’d probably host some of my friends and have a game night. My latest obsession is museums, so I’d definitely take a trip to a museum or two.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Id like to give a shoutout to my grandmother (deceased)for instilling this passion in me. Ill forever credit her for all of the amazing opportunities I’m afforded. My mom Muzette and sister Brittney my first two employee’s. Also to my God sister Tiffany (tete) who helped me come up with the name about 6 years ago. Latika and Jasmine for bringing my vision to life thru website, marketing strategies & graphics.
