Meet Amber Natasha Krisher: Banker, Model, Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Amber Natasha Krisher and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amber Natasha, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want people to remember my tenacity. I want to show that you can have anything you desire if you choose, to work hard enough. I grew up with nothing but big dreams and being fearless in my pursuits.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My career is so multi-faceted. I began a career in banking at the age of 16. I wont lie, it was hard. I was young, tenacious, and misunderstood by most of my peers. However, I pushed to learn and grow from others with more experience, talent, and knowledge than myself. At 24, I was able to move into a role with significant responsibility and had mentors hold my hand to truly learn how to run a business. They taught me humility, maturity, and pushed me beyond the limits I thought I was capable of. This was difficult. When you are growing and maturing, it feels painful. You truly have to look within yourself, recognize your own deficiencies and learn to either remediate them or accept them and not allow them to overcome you. Then, at 28, I was able to simultaneously achieve a lifelong dream to model and act. This is a completely different professional avenue than I had taken in the past. I truly believe without the lessons I learned in banking and the confidence the experience gave me, I wouldn’t have had the confidence to try. Even though I was working part time in this space, I continued to learn and grow. I continue daily to be more comfortable in my “skin” as well as trust myself in my decisions. Within the last year, my family and I started a company to provide emergency apparatus and service to municipalities. Once again, a completely different avenue. However, my past experiences have given me the knowledge to succeed in this space. This experience has continued to allow me to grow and strive for not only my success, but to leave more to the next generation. I hope this company remains within my family for years to come. I don’t know if I can nail down exactly what my “brand” is and that is because I have grown to be so much more than one thing. I do want to continue to show the world that you can truly achieve anything, and possibly everything, if you have enough passion, humility and confidence within yourself. I want to continue to grow and learn, as well as help others succeed along the way.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
OK so this is fun. In Dallas, there is so much to do. First, we would go to the Dallas Museum of Art. Walking through gives me such a sense of peace. Its truly magical. Then, we would go have tacos. My favorite is Velvet Taco. I love the Chicken Tikka Taco and their homemade margarita. We would then stroll through Deep Ellum and see which places feed our soul the best!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout my parents. They have always been the force motivating me when I didn’t have the ability to motivate myself.
