We had the good fortune of connecting with Abby Pfaff and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Abby, what are you inspired by?
I am constantly inspired by other artists. I like to follow artists on all of my social media to see what everyone is working on. Seeing everyone use their creativity encourages and inspires me to make art of my own.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets me apart from others is my determination. I am determined to achieve my goals and I work very hard to do so. It has taken me several years to get where I am today and I am still working towards where I want to be. I started my photography business in high school and I have built my clientele and perfected workflow and style over the last six years. I want to photograph more people, tell more stories and capture the love and excitement of all of my clients.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love finding cute shops or fun, unique activities in DFW. Recently, I stumbled upon Fort Witch, Vintage Freak and Horror Freak in Bedford. If I were to take someone on a week long trip around DFW I would make sure to check out those cute shops, paddle board on the Trinity River, eat on Main Street or Magnolia in Fort Worth and find a fun drive in either in Dallas or Fort Worth. DFW has so much to offer so there would be plenty to see.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
