KTA Media Group is a full-service communications firm specializing in public relations, media training, crisis communications, community engagement, book and product launches, digital marketing, social media and strategic partnerships. One of the things that sets KTA Media Group apart is our ability to produce results. People know that when they hire Kayla Tucker Adams/KTA Media Group, they will get a strategic approach that yields results. That is our promise. Prior to starting KTA Media Group, I spent more than fifteen years learning the art of public relations as I lead the public relations departments for various school districts, global nonprofit organization, March of Dimes and megachurch pastor, bestselling author and movie producer, T.D. Jakes. Like everything worth having, it has taken blood, sweats and even tears, to build KTA Media Group. God gave me a vision of my firm years before it was ever established, and I appreciate every door He continues to open to make it successful beyond what I can ever ask or think. God provides supernatural favor and exponential results for my clients.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Dallas is an eclectic city with lots of amazing things to see and do. I love exploring it and trying new things. I am a regular at the tea rooms in Dallas. The Dallas Arboretum is one of my favorite places. Not only are their gardens beautiful, but their seasonal exhibits are showstopping! If you like high tea, the restaurant inside the historic DeGolyer House is the place to be, especially for their seasonal teas. My friend and I go there regularly. We even wore our fascinators when we went for the Friendship Tea in February. We were the “belles of the ball!” I also love The Chocolate Angel. It’s a hidden gem in Richardson, with delicious tea! I even held my birthday tea there in November. Crumbzz, a quaint international bistro in Forney, is also one of my favorites. Asian food is one of my favorites! I frequent Steel Restaurant in uptown and Tokyo Harbor in Forney. My insurance agent drives all the way from Addison to meet me at Tokyo Harbor because it’s that good! There is also a Vietnamese restaurant called Dong Hai, with an amazing colossal crab dish with fried rice. It’s a favorite place for my friends and I to meet, especially when we want to celebrate. I love supporting Black-owned businesses. Some of the staples are Off the Bone Barbecue and Buttons Restaurant. Both restaurants/chefs also support March of Dimes, which makes me love them even more. I serve on the Board of Directors of the Dallas/Ft. Worth chapter of March of Dimes, so I raise money and walk in March for Babies and attend the Signature Chefs gala annually. Self-care is also important to me! I see my favorite massage therapist, Chanel Quins at Aesthetics Massage Dallas, regularly as well as my favorite two estheticians, Thai Morrison of Koffee Day Spa and Janetria Oliver of Phancy Skin. My favorite smoothie bar is Peace. Love. & Eatz, a vegan spot in Desoto that’s so amazing it even caught the attention of Oprah Winfrey on her Weight Watchers Tour stop in Dallas. And of course, I love my church and love to have friends and family members to join me for worship at Central Pointe Church of Christ.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We have all heard the saying, “Teamwork makes the dream work.” That statement holds true for KTA Media Group as well. I was intentional when I named the company because I wanted to be clear that it is not just me, but a team of powerful professionals that make KTA Media Group one of the best public relations firms, period. This dream goes beyond me and I am blessed to have been able to assemble a team of some of the best and brightest public relations talent. While our main office is in Dallas, Texas, we have PR professionals in different parts of the country, which allows up to handle a wide range of projects in different parts of the country and even the world. In addition to my professional team, I am blessed to have an amazing group of sister-friends and family to encourage me to always bring my absolute best. My friends and I always feel so blessed to have everything we need right in our circle. From doctors, lawyers, education leaders, realtors, social workers, bankers, business owners…we have everything we need.
