We had the good fortune of connecting with Seanette Haynes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Seanette, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind my business was to help other people use their life lessons as a script for success thereafter and to heal in the process.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m most proud and excited about Company Rules providing life coaching services and also Skin Scentuals offering products to nourish the skin. Tears, grit, and ongoing determination are the driving force for both businesses that cater to the mind and body. Change and success are not easy and doesn’t happen overnight. Overcoming a “thing” demands assessment, planning, reinforcement, and life long commitment to thrive. I’ve learned that love starts with accepting who you are, straight up with no chaser. I am a born again lover of myself who wants to help others heal their mind and accept their beauty

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I love to spend time in self-indulgence and reflections and would plan a day at a spa with massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures on the menu to start. Followed with a refreshing green juice and buddha bowl to recharge and ending with meaningful conversation and meditations to close the day. The rest of the week would be spent at the beach, rock climbing/hiking, trying new cuisine, wine tastings, and enjoying live music.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout life for teaching me to love and value myself and to past and current relationships that reinforce this message. Lastly, shoutout goes to individuals that have and continue to make an impact via their support and teaching in no particular order are my family, Tony Gaskins, RC Blakes, Dr. Matthew L Stevenson, and Iyanla Vanzant just to name a few.
