We had the good fortune of connecting with Paulina Ho and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paulina, why did you pursue a creative career?
It’s strongest urge I’ve had since as a kid.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I sadistically love to push creative boundaries conceptually and technically. Right now I’m trying to work in more sculptural work and it’s been fun to learn new skills such as 3D modeling.

It’s not the easiest task to make a living out of art in our world, but it’s possible if you are willing to dedicate years of practice and deal with multiple rejections.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’ve decided my NYC life to find the best pizza and would have to take them to at least one spot. My favorite spots to dilly dally are Central Park, downtown Manhattan, and Dumbo for the views.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Bailey Sullivan recommended me for this and has always been encouraging. She’s an inspiration for her work ethic, detail, work quality, and overall badassery.
