We had the good fortune of connecting with Leandra Frey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leandra, why did you pursue a creative career?
Before I became a Life Coach, I worked in the mortgage industry doing compliance. As a kid, I loved to dance and act in plays. Performing for people is my 2nd nature. But choosing a career, I played it safe, however, it allowed me the freedom to work 9 to 5 and do my creative work afterward. Much of my outside work life was designing retreats and creating motivational lessons for kids in middle and high school through my church . I LOVED creating amazing games, lessons, and challenges for their intellect. As my life unfolded, I could see how how more of time was being spent helping others. I became a CrossFit coach in 2018. I learned so much about coaching clients to get their best physique through mental thought work. So how does Life coach apply, I am in the same inspiring roll of creating webinars, programs and teaching. This time my focus is helping divorced women recover from heartbreak and loneliness. The pouring of my creative side of being with people in their time of reflection allows me to be curious in a new way every single women I encounter.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a Life coach who helps women recover from heartbreak and lonelines. I help them get ready to fall in love again. I do this through coaching sessions via zoom. I am currently most proud of my teaching webinar series “How to “Be” on Date” I consider my approach to be tough love but humorous. I am where I am today because of two thoughts. One is I get to help women create the love life of their dream every day. Two: They need my help now! The second thought is my driver – the business is about them and serving their needs. I can’t afford the time to doubt my teaching and coaching abilities. It hasn’t been easy. Coming from a corporate environment has been an interesting transition. Getting to create my day is amazing but realizing if I not out there making myself known to the people who need my help, then there will be no monetary results. One of the primary things I have done in the transformation to corporate career to entreprenuership is surround myself with fellow women entreprenuers…from all industries. The love and support has been significant. I have been blown away at how many women want to help others. My advice is find those support networks….they are everywhere and ask for help. Every single time I have asked about anything…I have been helped from how to stay out of facebook jail to using keywords for SEO (I had to ask what that was) but no one laughed. What I want people to know is I am here to challenge you to the love life you have always wanted. Be prepared to work for it and I will be right here.

Then we will have dinner at Hula Hut in Little elm. We can sit at the bar and watch the wakeboarders at Hydrous waterpark do some amazing tricks or face plant several times. Either way be prepared for fun food and drinks

Thursday – Relax at rooftop pool at the Renaissance hotel in Plano.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I learned about the POWER of group coaching through the organization Gap Community (https://gapcommunity.com/). I didn’t know what coaching really was but attending a 4 day training helped me pivot my life to where I am today. I pursued a new career to become a life coach so I could help others get out of their own way and create the life they have always wanted. Amy Maxwell is a trainer with Gap Community. She always says “Love is flexible” Since I coach women recovering from heartbreak, I get to teach that love is a powerful force of this earth…wield it!
