We had the good fortune of connecting with Nate Price and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nate, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Going off on a whim to start my fitness business was a huge risk. I knew it wouldn’t be easy to try and develop something from pretty much nothing, but I had/have the drive to continue with my passion to help others achieve a more quality lifestyle. Without taking risk, you always wonder “what if”, and I was always taught to pursue what I believe in. Even though the odds can be against you in some cases, there is always that small probability makes taking a risk well worth it. I believe that everyone should attempt to do something that they are truly passionate about regardless of where you are in your life. Risk taking encompasses the essence of the mindset to “make it happen” by any means necessary.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
No one person fits into the same mold as another. Needless to say, I take each client’s journey very personal in the sense that I do this for them and not me. I am where I am today because of my passion to create a healthier society by reaching one person at a time. As a trainer, you quickly learn that everyone’s path will not look the same because life happens and every the experiences of each individual can not be duplicated. This is why it is up to the professionals in the fitness industry to pivot and still make things happen for those to whom they have made the commitment. Grit N Grind Fitness does just that. We create an environment for the individual to redefine themselves until they can achieve long-lasting happiness and continue to thrive.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
-Blaze Brazilian Steakhouse in Las Colinas -Texican Court Las Colinas -V12 Yoga near Dallas Farmer’s Market -Toyota Music Factory Pavillion in Las Colinas (Depending on the performer) -Top Golf in The Colony -Andrettis in The Colony -Buzzbrews in Deep Ellum for Brunch -Sidecar Social in Addison

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Before anyone or anything, my continued success is by the Grace of God. Although I’m not a hardcore Christian, I believe in the power of prayer. It has literally eased my mind and brought me through tough times. Next, my wife and family have been more than supportive and encouraging along this journey as I continue to grow and create change in the lives of my clients. Another person I’d like to acknowledge is my mentor, Ade’ Hazley. He has been my big brother and my business mentor. Without him, I don’t think I would have come this far this fast. Last but not least, my clients who have stuck with me through thick and thin and have allowed me to learn while helping them grow.
