We had the good fortune of connecting with Yael VanGruber and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yael, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business wasn’t just a career decision—it was a calling that’s been with me since childhood. I’ve always had a deep, intuitive ability to feel what others are going through, and somehow, even as a young girl, I knew how to offer comfort, clarity, and hope. That natural gift grew into a true purpose to help people move from pain to healing, from brokenness to wholeness, and from lost love to rekindled connection.

My counseling work is centered on guiding others to shine again—to remember their worth, reclaim their voice, and rebuild their lives with love and purpose. But healing, for me, doesn’t only happen through words. It flows through my creativity as well.

That’s why I also pour this energy into my art and jewelry designs. Each piece I create is more than just something beautiful—it’s made with intention, emotion, and light. My artwork and handcrafted jewelry are extensions of the same mission: to bring joy, peace, and healing into people’s lives. Whether through a meaningful conversation or a piece of wearable art, I want to awaken a sense of inner beauty, self-love, and spiritual connection.

I believe we are all here to bring something divine into the world, and this is my way—through healing, creativity, and light—to help others feel whole again

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is born from emotion, intuition, and the freedom to express what words often cannot. From childhood, I was always an artist at heart—my school projects stood out as creative benchmarks, and even then, I knew I had a unique way of seeing and feeling the world. While I’ve taken some art classes, my true growth came through fearless exploration—allowing myself to experiment, break boundaries, and pour my feelings into every piece.

I’m especially drawn to abstract art because it invites each person to see and feel something different. I have a deep passion for colors and its ability to evoke emotion, energy, and healing. My work is a reflection of my inner world—raw, honest, and open—and I create with the hope that each painting speaks to the heart of whoever sees it.

More than anything, I want the world to feel my love, my passion, and the healing energy I pour into everything I create. Every brushstroke is an offering—a moment of connection, light, and transformation.”**

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Nature has always been my sanctuary. There’s something about the stillness of mountains, the flow of rivers, the sparkle of waterfalls, and the colors of wildflowers that makes me feel completely alive. When I travel, it’s never just about the destination—it’s about the scenery, the feeling, the energy. I’m drawn to places where I can breathe deeply, walk barefoot on the earth, and let the beauty of the natural world inspire and ground me.

I’m not the type who needs to chase crowds or loud entertainment to enjoy life. If you gave me a choice between hanging out at a party or exploring a hiking trail, I’d pick the trail—every time. I love real experiences: hiking through beautiful landscapes, cooking meals with love, trying local foods from all cultures (as long as it’s nourishing and healthy), and sharing genuine moments with others.

I enjoy good company and meaningful fun, and I’m always open to a glass of wine or a social drink here and there—but I’ve never needed alcohol to feel joy or connection. For me, life’s richness comes from presence, nature, culture, and soulful conversation. That’s where I thrive

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My journey wouldn’t be what it is without the love and support of the people who stood beside me. My children have been my greatest inspiration—they remind me daily of resilience, love, and the beauty of growth. My family has encouraged me through every step, holding space for my dreams even in moments of doubt. And my community—those who believed in my work, trusted my guidance, and allowed me to be a part of their healing—has been the foundation that gave this purpose real meaning. Their faith in me helped me believe even more deeply in myself. This success is not mine alone; it’s a shared light, nurtured by every soul who has walked this path with me.
