Meet Nirja And Samarth Setty www.settys.com |

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nirja And Samarth Setty www.settys.com and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nirja And Samarth Setty, what do you attribute your success to?
We are in our high school and college years so we have lot to do in oder to rule out a final mojo of our success.
It is remarkable that with just one class at a time and by just following the schedules, we are where we are today in performing arts field. I think it is because our trainer and mentor had a straight background, it made it very easy for us to deliver consistently and spend time where it is required. Make priority of training/knowledge/techniques(that includes creativity), and learn from real industrial experiences of our teachers.
Consistency and hard work with well lit paths helped us overcome the challenges or just avoid the occurrences itself as every possible issue was addressed before the cause itself. It is more of prevention is better than cure.
Right knowledge in the right audiences helped us to maximize our potentials and time utilization was at maxima.
While our other friends were busy in other activities that did not fetch them anything, we earned, we learned, we were guided well and we grew too! Working under hetalnagaraj taught us to be respectful, handle pressures with ease, take breaks as you would need them instead of following a basic regime that others follow, mental health, physical health and everything in-between.
making sure to be well built with all the knowledge/experience/expertise from real worlds/education was the most important factor that made it easier for us to take leap. It was a leap of faith by knowledge and education supported by real experience. It was not a blind leap of faith. We all knew exactly what we were doing and where it would lead us.
This taught us that if all goes well, this is how beautiful it makes your life by just following schedule.
We could do our first investment as young as teen years for field that we understood well because of our experiences/knowledge and all the education as well.
I think all of above plays a role in overall success and that it works! – thesettys.com

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We specialize in multi genre/style and category specialities. As you know that most dancers in america, it is difficult to stick to one genre in today’s world due to demanding opportunities. Just like most americans do tap jazz ballet or hiphop, we do Bharatanatyam, Folk dances, Bollywood, hiphop, modeling or drama/theatre. We were introduced to tap jazz ballet as well by our parents as it was important to them that we learn all these amazing skills. Our program is so well made with all the goodness of our mentor’s specialities that we also have theater and other stage skills that has made us extremely valuable and yet keeping our education goals intact. Our skills are valued because of multi specialities. We are like a one stop shop for our clients. They get everything under us. And so it makes perfect sense for us and our clients to bid on us or create these amazing projects where we can showcase our specialities. Their workforce as well as labor and coordination work also decreases drastically as we can do it all or we have teams that do all the back office work for them and it is easy on everybody!
It is like paying 1 bulk price for “everything”.
Thus, we were able to attract these gigs at very young age just when we were entering the pre.elites/elites/competition level of performances and delivery. consistency, hard-work with the right knowledge/education and application of this knowledge in real world matters a lot. The most important lesson that we learned in our training program was “how to balance it” and what to avoid and why. This made our decision making easy on where to spend time or money as in performances.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We are locally born and brought up so we love everything! grapevine is known, gaylord ICE is known, frisco square and legacy shops are also amazing places. since we always had our friends and support system, we have had fun everywhere we went. you can walk by downtown areas during christmas times, it is beautiful.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
my team mates and elites of hetalnagaraj with whom we performed and achieved so much is a life changing event itself. we had wonderful time. we will recognize them at the end with recommendation emails. Special thanks to hetalnagaraj that carefully outlined our paths without stressing out on anything. With just one to 2 classes at a time by gaining just the right amount of knowledge/education/expertise, it has amazed us how well it has worked out for us. We have felt loved at all times and valued at every hour of our activity. we have enjoyed every childhood activity along with all this that you see on www.thesettys.com. People can only dream of playdates that we have done and activities that we do with our friends and that is how we are well mentored. There is a striking balance that we have learned across our training years which has made our life well planned. Our schools were wonderful.

Other: We are not into social media yet since we have been busy with studies and mainstream performing arts so our parents have these basic social media accounts that were required for some submission purposes while these were disregarded or not really considered during the auditions. It was the other way round as some social media release was requested after the audition was cleared. mainstream activity world works entirely different!
