We had the good fortune of connecting with Cesar Reyes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cesar, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process for starting my own business was that I always wanted to be an entrepreneur. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs I learn a lot from watching my family grow and expand.
I had started several businesses over the years but they failed.
One thing that kept me going is that I never gave up on my dream of owning my own business one day.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
LOKITO COKITO is a bartending service with a twist. I’m not just a bartending service, I’M YOUR DRINK PLANNER from start to end.
What sets me apart is that I offer quality and craft drinks at affordable prices.
I created my own drinks and recipes that are exclusively for my Customers.
I also offer custom packages including my famous LOKITO FLAMING TOWER. Must check the videos. And other flaming and unique cocktails and beverages.
When I started was really hard, I never owned a bartending service, all I have was the knowledge of making and creating cocktails and my passion for drinks.
The way I overcome these challenges was thru doing my own research and failures and experience.
By advertising thru social media, going to network events and putting the work of being out there and exposing my business I started gaining clients.
I learn that in any business if you don’t expose yourself and do the hard work of learning and going thru the process You will be never achieved anything in life.
What I want the world to know about my business is my passion for a good cocktail and being able to provide the best customer service there is.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Dallas is a growing city. With all new restaurants and attractions to visit. I would take them to downtown Dallas first. Deep Ellum, and Bishop arts district. Then i would take them to TEXAS LIVE for a good cocktail and some good entertainment.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shout-out to my friends and family that were there supporting my dream. Big Shout out to my Mother and Grandmother for all their guidance.
My grandma’s story is a real Rags to Riches story, I learn a lot from her experience.
My cousin Fernando Reyes for opening my eyes in what an entrepreneur really is.
My friend Anthony for always being there when I started and supporting my business since day one.
And all my new entrepreneur friends that I met in this incredible journey that I consider family.
Lastly and most important all the people who I serve and enjoy my services and cocktails that I make. It gives me great joy when I see them smile and enjoy all my cocktails and bartending services that I have provided.
