We had the good fortune of connecting with Nedi Hernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nedi, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My favorite quote since being in this industry has always been: Their is no competition among each other but motivation from one another” This quote and I relate because In every step of the way I have had people that I admire and I still look up to! I have always had a good support system by my side to hold me when I felt down and when other people didn’t believe in me. I believe we should motivate each other to achieve goals and support each other because we are indeed stronger together than if we were to see each other as competition. God blesses everyone and everyone.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Licensed Esthetician located in Arlington TX. I perform facials for better skin appearance, help with acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and aging. We use CBD (thc-free) as our primary products for our skin care line for most of our clients. I studied what cbd does to your skin and our results have been amazing. Our clients love the products we use and they love that they are able to take home kits to treat at home. Starting my career wasn’t easy. I started going to school during tax season which is my first business and after 4 years of working under someone else I went and opened my own Tax office (Nedi’s Tax Services) making me now have 8plus years of experience. I have a pretty good amount of clientele which made it hard for me to get to everyone all while going to school. Everyday what kept me going was that I knew all the sacrifices I was making were going to be worth it. I’ve learned that everything you set your mind to do is possible and sometimes even when people don’t think you are able to make it you have to show them otherwise. Be very appreciative with the people that were there and never stoped believing in you. I want everyone to know that no matter what keep on going, someone is always watching and cheering for you. You might be their only role model and motivation to achieve their own goals.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had to show my best friend a day in my city I would start with brunch at Hola Cafe or Yolk in Dallas. After that I would love to go shopping at some nice boutiques. The Hills Boutique and Eloisa’s store. If we had to get ready for a night out I would go see my girls.
