I think I decided to pursue art as a career path partially because it’s something I enjoy, but also because art allows me the chance to reflect and think about what’s happening around me. Art has also allowed me to connect and work with so many great people with likeminded views and unique perspectives which I absolutely love. I feel that art works as equalizer that lets people from all backgrounds and experiences speak and share their unique views of the world while also connecting with others through shared experiences and life connections. At the time, I didn’t know what a duvet cover was, but it was up for the challenge. Read more>>
Jeris Johnson | Photographer

The process has not been easy because I am gifted in different areas which caused me to feel like I had to choose. My parents have always encouraged me to do what I really love which is photography. I spoke to them about it so they began investing into equipment and not long after that my mentors purchased me my first camera which led to me practicing from my iPhone to a canon 70D. Read more>>
Jerry Crayton II | Photo & Video Creative
I have enjoyed the arts and creative activities for as long as I can remember. Since I was really young I’ve been involved in dance programs, drawing courses, choir, band, and graphic design throughout my life. It feels like the natural way for me to conceptualize and navigate life. Creative work is not something I get to do full-time yet, but I do make time for my creative interests. My cameras, especially, are a vehicle for me to communicate and express myself visually. Read more>>
